Hi I’m Dr. Anastasia Galanopoulos.

I started helping people regain their gut health by showing them how to cook simple, nutrient-dense recipes because the gut is the source of the solution of pretty much all that ails us. It was my Greek, Mediterranean diet that helped me gain back my own health after surgery several years ago. No doctor was able to explain the slew of strange post-op reactions I was having which also came with symptoms of anxiety and depression for the first time in my life.  It was the Mediterranean diet that I had been eating my entire life that helped to nurse me back to myself.
After years of trying various doctor-recommended diets and supplements with no long-lasting relief, I started documenting what I was doing while looking for patterns. Through much research I learned that gut bacterial diversity is linked to overall health, and I confirmed my hunch that  stress and nutrition play a huge role in keeping your gut diverse, balanced, and strong.

My stress level had hugely increased while visiting many specialists and telling and retelling my story over and over again, with no clear solution in sight. Going back to cooking my own family recipes of classic Greek food, I went from feeling tired, anxious, and depressed to feeling more energetic, less stressed, and more hopeful.

Now that I have figured out the secret to mind-body resilience, I teach people how to cook quick, simple, and nutrient-dense dishes that encourage a resilient gut and support mental and overall health. Clients report experiencing less stress, more energy, increased positivity, and stronger immunity.

This is all thanks to the Mediterranean diet. The classic Greek dishes I grew up loving to cook and eat are the same types of dishes that research is showing are gut-friendly and gut-supportive, and the ones I show you how to cook in under an hour. Of course, I put my own signature on each dish and encourage you to do the same. It’s all about layering flavor and nutrition in every bite and having mindful fun while doing it!


I know how easy it is to get caught up on the idea that we lack the time to cook a healthy meal and how difficult it can be to try something that might seem intimidating. I’m here to tell you that you can cook mental health-supportive meals in less than 30 minutes.
